The technological innovations and machines are largely consuming electricity, and this scenario has become common for both industries as well as households. They both require power management and monitoring solutions.  This has provided new opportunities for organizations like Cyber Switching Solutions, Inc. to open new markets in the preferred industry. Cyber Switching Solutions Inc., an energy management space innovator for more than 25 years, delivers power management and monitoring solutions to help customers to reduce electrical energy costs dramatically, deliver, and seek to improve energy distribution to mission-critical services. The company also aims to protect vital and expensive investment in equipment, and comply with evolving government building protocols, industry standards, and socially responsible green energy solar directions.

"We’ve expanded our offerings to include different functionalities. In SMUD’s case, we become their analytical dashboard, their means of access and control. At times, they don’t need to rotate, or power share-but that benefit is always available"

Cyber Switching Solutions’ Electric Vehicle Master Controller (EVMC) leads the way toward a reliable, cost-effective electric vehicle charging. For almost 30 years, Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) has been a leader in electric vehicle research, and it was natural that Cyber Switching would play alongside the electric utility in its continuing implementation of the EV fleet.

SMUD has been continuously supporting EV adoption which helps improve the air quality in the Sacramento region and reduces dependency on oil. SMUD has decided to work with Cyber Switching to test its EV Master Controller’s charge management capabilities to determine whether it can help their customers save money by avoiding the cost of an electric panel upgrade.

Cyber Switching Solutions carries CTO patents for power management over the internet. Ron Silorio is one of the system's inventors. “We’ve expanded our offerings to include different functionalities. In SMUD’s case, we become their analytical dashboard, their means of access and control. At times, they don’t need to rotate, or power share-but that benefit is always available," says Silorio. All circuits run simultaneously when SMUD has a busy day with all hands on deck. Indeed, if the longer dwell time is acceptable, SMUD can turn the EVMC into rotation mode and continue to charge one vehicle for a set time and round-robin multiplex the circuit. The additional cloud-based platform makes it possible to manage and monitor energy use in order to control demand charges, usage times, and other important cost factors. Both firms have worked collaboratively and definitely involved in the utility space where all these factors are at the cutting edge of discussions, and they take pride in their technology being appreciated by the customers.
