Anpath Group and Q2Power Aligns to Offer Power Solution to Biogas Producing Sites

FREMONT, CA: Anpath Group signs a merger agreement with Q2Power, a renewable power company to offer power solutions to Biogas producing sites.

Q2Power's proprietary engine efficiently converts thermal energy into usable power at low cost. By helping many sites to monetize the untreated biogasfor producing electricity and heat, the company helps in increasing plant efficiencies, keeping in mind strict environmental regulations.

The company functions on selling electricity and heat through recurring-revenue power purchase agreements (PPAs).As the production of bio gas takes place on a 24x7 basis, generation of power using bio gas reduces landfill waste with no harmful impact on the environment. Q2Power's technology aims to provide a cost-effective distributed power solution for the vast majority of underserved, small-scale biogas and waste methane producing sites in the U.S. and globally.

"This is a very exciting time for Q2Power, as we see this transaction providing a platform for us to expedite the commercial deployment of our power systems as well as seize opportunities to make strategic acquisitions in the bio-digester space, which we believe is on the verge of enormous growth. As more states enact strict limits on organic waste disposal, a multi-billion dollar industry is being created. We believe our product is the best choice for thousands of biogas digesters currently in use in the U.S. at landfills, waste water treatment plants and industrial sites, as well as the 20,000 or more bio-digesters that the EPA forecasts will be developed over the coming years," says Christopher Nelson, CEO, Q2Power.
